Vicki Compton - Vicki and her husband Ervin come from Lebanon, Virginia to the Smyth County Jam. They are a welcome addition here. She was born in Ohio. Vicki says she has two children and five grandchildren. She is a housewife (a full time job, for sure!) Vicki plays electric bass and is an outstanding singer. Quite often she and Irvin sing duets. Her parents sing and play music, in fact they were professional musicians for about six years, with the band "Bluegrass Revival." Vicki says her favorite musicians are the Osborne Brothers. She has quite a collection of very unique and stunning jewelry.
