"Toot" Birchfield - Toot is a new member of Kody Norris' band the Watauga Mountain Boys". He plays a strong bluegrass banjo and some guitar. He comes to the Smyth County Jam from Newport, TN. Toot says he has been playing about nine years now. He says he has no family members who play music, but picked it up on his own. A banjo picker he admires is Darrell Winkleman out of Kentucky.
