Come on down and enjoy the fun at the 11th Annual Saltville Jam. We promise that if you like good, clean music; you will have the time of your life Labor Day weekend at the Lions Club Carnival Grounds in Saltville, Virginia. Our music can take you back to your childhood, back to the town the way it used to be, make you remember a loved one who has passed on, or feel closer to our creator.

The Saltville Jam was originated in 1997 by a local group of musicians and friends and is a music show designed to allow local musicians and singers and their friends an opportunity to perform.

The Saltville Jam has really gained momentum over the past 11 years. We have a very large following of both musicians and fans that come out to participate in this fun filled weekend. For some, this 3 day event is the highlight of their Labor Day weekend.

As always, there will be an empty gold chair in front of the stage at this years jam. A seat that would have been occupied by one of the area musicians’ most loyal fans – Ken Collins. Ken passed away in 1998 after a long battle with cancer. The Saltville Jam and the weekly Smyth County Jam is dedicated to the memory of our dearly missed friend Ken.

So, if you enjoy Bluegrass, Old Time, Gospel or just Acoustic music in general, bring your lawn chair and a friend and come on down to the Lions Club Carnival Grounds for a weekend of great music.

The show will start on Saturday September 1st around 6:00 P.M.

The Saltville Jam and the Smyth County Jam were both created, organized and are operated by local musicians and their friends. We are NOT associated with any of the other organizations, celebrations or events in the area.

We need your help. Please feel free to print and distribute the Saltville Jam Flyer to help us spread the word.
