Larry White - Larry comes from Wytheville, VA to the Smyth County Jam. He plays guitar and sings. He says he has been playing about fifteen years now. Larry is employed by Thompson Tire Company. Larry's father plays guitar and he has a brother who plays piano. Larry's life has been touched with tragedy, he lost his wife in a devastating fire about five years ago at Christmas time; barely escaping with his own life. He is very lucky to be alive and able to get about, as the doctors told him he probably would not ever walk again. Larry says he likes to listen to the Primitive Quartet and Ralph Stanley.
