Leroy Vanover - Born in Shelby Gap Kentucky Leroy has been in Tazewell County since 1977. He is a member of the Back Porch Pickers. Leroy is an all-around musician, who plays banjo, guitar, and dobro. The Smyth County Jam welcomes such a talented fellow to jam with us. He says he has been playing music as long as he can remember. Leroy has been a member of the Back Porch Pickers for about seven or eight years. He says he admires ALL musicians; no certain group or individual.
