Jared Sweet - Jared Sweet hails from Pounding Mill, Virginia. We are happy to have his talent show up at the Smyth County Jam. Jared plays guitar and a admits to playing a little mandolin, but not in public so far! His father plays guitar. He has played about ten years, beginning at age fourteen. Jared plays with the band "Grand Caraband". He makes a living building cranes. His musical heroes are Tony Rice and Jacky Ray.
