Jason Skinner - The Smyth County Jam is pleased to welcome Jason Skinner of the Skinner Family from Bristol, Tennessee. Jason says he plays a little bit of everything, as he has taught the others to play. Jason is married to Jennifer and they have two children: Alyssa and Zayn all of which play and sing. Usually he plays a fine bluegrass banjo, as well as being a very good singer. Jason was born in Edenton, North Carolina, and has been involved in playing about fifteen years. Jason tells us he is an ardent fan of Reno and Smiley; this is evident from the selections they play.
