Justin Shaffer - We welcome Justin Shaffer to the Smyth County Jam. this is his first time at the jam. He comes from Bristol, Virginia. Justin plays mandolin, guitar, bass and sings as well! He has been involved in music since he was about eight years old. He is now twenty-five. Justin says about all of his father's people played music. He says he plays for fun, he is not currently involved with a band. Justin is not married. He has an older brother living and a sister who is deceased. Justin is employed by the Virginia Public School system. His favorite musicians are the Primitive Quartet and Paul Williams. We invite him back any time he can come.
