Ted Sage - Ted Sage plays a distinctive bluegrass
banjo as well as being a fine singer. Ted also plays mandolin, bass
and guitar upon occasion. He says the band has toured quite a lot in
years past and played with many popular and widely-known bands such
as Jimmy Martin and The Country Gentlemen. Ted lives in Abingdon, VA
and is employed by Empire Ford. We always get excited at the Smyth County
Jam when Ted Sage shows up.
The Smyth County Jam is honored to have the superlative band SAGE GRASS
on our stage. Sage Grass has been one of the best bluegrass bands around
for years. The band consists of three brothers; Ted,
Andy and
Ricky.
