James Lowe - The Smyth County Jam gives a warm welcome to James Lowe. James is a member of Kody Norris band “The Watauga Mountain Boys.” He has been with Kody for three years and counting. James comes from Pikeville, Kentucky. He was a coal miner at one time. James says his father played about every musical instrument there is. He says he plays a “little” guitar, but the bass is his instrument, mostly. He has three grown children. James says Carter Stanley is his most admired musician.
