Jeff Levy - We welcome Jeff Levy to the Smyth County Jam, this is a first time here for Jeff. Jeff was born in Chicago, Illionis, he now lives in Radford, Virginia. Jeff has one daughter; Addison Levy. He sings and plays guitar. Jeff does not ordinarily play with his daughter's band, but runs the sound for them. He just jams with whom ever he chooses. Jeff says in addition to his daughter Addison, that his Dad and brother play music. Jeff began singing at the ripe old age of three years. He has played guitar about ten years. He was raised on bluegrass music, but played country music for some time. Jeff's favorite band is "Gravel Road Bluegrass" A favorite somg of Jeff's is "Cumberland River." He says he first heard about the Smyth County Jam via Capo's music store. His firs impression of the jam is that it is quite unique, with very good practice rooms for those who play. Jeff is a Department Head at New River College. The Smyth County Jam extends a hearty "come back soon" to Jeff and Addison and all members of Gravel Road Bluegrass.
