Tom Issacs - What a pleasure to welcome Tom Isaacs to our Smyth County Jam! Tom comes from Boone, NC which seems to be a hot bed of excellent string musicians. He plays fiddle, banjo and guitar and also sings very well; another multi-talented young man. Tom is currently attending ASU (Appalachian State University) in Boone. He says he is undecided about a major as of yet. Tom travels with Kody Norris; most the time playing fiddle for the band He says he admires the Stanley Brothers music very much. Tom's grandmother, Naomi, plays autoharp. We hope to see more of Tom Isaacs when he is able to get away to come to Chilhowie.
