Amber Collins Holbrook - It has been a while since Amber Collins now Holbrook came to join us at the Smyth County Jam. She says she simply got too busy to attend. Amber is from Saltville, Virginia. She says she plays guitar and sings. She is very much at home on stage and she has a clear and distinctive voice. Amber is presently enrolled at Highlands Community College, but she will transfer to Virginia Tech, in a year, to continue her studies in veterinarian science. Amber has three sisters and two brothers. She says most of her mother's family play music. Amber says she admires the music of Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as Metallica. She says she was once in a hard rock band. We hope she will make a habit of dropping by anytime she can.
