Bill Greer - Bill is Austin Greer's dad. Bill plays guitar. Austin must have inherited his musical talent from Bill. The Greer's live in the Adwolfe area of Marion. Austin is the only child they have. Smyth County Jam is happy to have both father and son among us. It seems difficult to get Bill on stage; although we would like that very much! Bill says, as far as he knows, there has been no musicians in his family background. Bill has worked at Smyth County Machine and Welding for about six years. He says he enjoys hunting when he has time. A favorite musician of Bill's is Larry Sparks. He says he does not have a favorite song/tune. We are always happy to see Bill and Austin at the jam.
