James "Jim" Elliott - The Smyth County Jam welcomes a newcomer to our venue. Jim Elliott comes from the Little Creek section of Bland County. He plays guitar and sings well. Currently he does not play with a band, although he did at one point in time. Jim says his mother, uncles, and brother sang /played music. He is a retired truck driver, handling the big rigs. Jim is married to Agnes. He says he likes to listen to the late Charlie Waller and John Duffy. We hope he will come back to visit us at the Smyth County Jam.
