Jamie Collins - We are happy to see Jamie Collins at the Smyth County Jam. Jamie is from Bristol, Tennessee. She is a member of the newly formed "Grand Caraband." Jamie plays bass and guitar and sings as well..Her father and brother also play music, and her grandmother plays piano. She is currently enrolled in the bluegrass program at East Tennessee University; this being her second year. Jamie plans to become a teacher. She says her musical idols are Tony Rice and Sam Bush.
