Alex Burchett - The Smyth County Jam welcomes Alex Burchett to our stage. Alex is the grandson of Sadie and Ronnie Burchett and the great nephew of Neal Burchett. Alex is being home-schooled. He is in the seventh grade. He plays guitar and electric bass. Currently, he is trying to go to the dog house bass entirely. Alex says he has been learning guitar from Herman Barrett and Granddad Ronnie. Beside being involved with his music, Alex likes to ride skateboards. He says he likes the old classic rock music (soft rock) and likes Chet Atkins' music too. He likes a lot of different songs, no favorites, so far. Keep on learning, Alex and come to the Jam real often.
