Tony Buck - We welcome Tony Buck to the Smyth County Jam! Tony makes his home in Rural Retreat, VA. He is a long-distance truck driver. Tony sings and plays guitar. He says he doesn't play any other instrument well enough to do it in public. He has been playing for about twenty years. Tony says most of his aunts and uncles play music, as well as his mother. One of his uncles played with Bill Monroe at one period. Tony says his musical hero is Tony Rice. Due to his job Tony is not a member of a band.
