Courtney Austin - We at the Smyth County Jam are always happy to greet new visitors who are very talented. Courtney Austin is one of these people. Courtney comes from Avery County, NC. where she is a nursing student at Mayland Community College. She is a fine singer and says she plays piano also. We enjoyed her ballad songs immensely, songs of this caliber are not heard that often any where now days. Courtney says her entire family sings, and that she has been singing all her life. The door is open to Courtney any time she can come to the jam. Courtney likes to listen to Sonja Isaacs, Travis Tritt and especially Rhonda Vincent.
